Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy covers the game WordMage Chronicles on Windows, Android and iOS, and this website. The short version: the game does not collect, send or sell any personal data.
What the game stores
To keep your progress, the game saves a few files on your own device:
- your progress: opened places, defeated bosses, spells, crystals and how well you know each verb;
- your settings: language, sound, difficulty, controls and English level;
- your own list of words, if you make one;
- simple play statistics, such as how long a run took, used to balance the game.
These files never leave your device. Deleting the game, or choosing “Reset progress” in the settings, removes them.
What the game does not do
- It has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or age.
- It does not connect to the internet and sends no data to us or to anyone else.
- It shows no ads and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
- It does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location or photos.
Stores
When you buy or download the game through Steam, Google Play or the App Store, that store processes your purchase under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated sales reports from the stores, never your personal details.
Children
The game is suitable for learners of all ages. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It remembers the language you pick only in your own browser. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.
Changes
If the game ever starts handling data differently, for example by adding online features, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date above.
