Short description

A fantasy adventure where every spell is an English irregular verb. Remember the past and participle forms, cast fire, ice and light, and rescue your mentor from the Darkness.

Description

On the day of your initiation, Gasnyk, a former student who went to the Tower for power, takes your mentor and starts breaking the ten seals that hold the Darkness back. You follow him along the Old Road with your lantern, the Svitych, and the words your mentor leaves in his notes.

Every card in your hand carries a verb. Choose its past form and its participle to cast at full power; get one wrong and the spell weakens. Light the five panes of your lantern, write the forms on the gate yourself, and face a boss built around a single trick. Learned words earn crystals for new spells: more than twenty across fire, ice and light.
